I'm fascinated by style as expression and as a bit of art we all create every time we get dressed. I'm not a fashionista. I (definitely) hesitate to call myself a clothing designer.

Nature is sweet. I bike every day, fully enjoy paying extra for local foods, and think that the way you spend your money is a representation of the kind of world you want to live in.

When I'm not working on {r}, I'm taking pictures, baking cookies, snowboarding, eating grape tomatoes, or doing chaturangas.

I've been known to lurk around dog parks on sunny afternoons and eat entire boxes of Thin Mints in one sitting. But really, who hasn't...

I'm certain that we're living in the most pivotal of times, but also the most exciting. I believe the fashion industry, as we know it, is more outdated than newspaper publishing. I thrive on observation and am continuously amazed by the power of perspective.

Pre-cycling, upcycling, and mindful consumption are my retail therapy. I hate waste, styrofoam and bottled water. I'm a sucker for great books, craft beer, rainy days, organic food, and wanderlust.

When I'm not working on {r}, I can be found daydreaming of faraway places, drinking copious amounts of fair trade coffee, and picketing outside Wal-mart (just kidding... sort of).

 Steve Celano | Filmmaker

Steve Celano is a student at Loyola University Maryland studying Digital Media and Philosophy. He's also the creator of Take2Films, a company designed to redefine the meaning of low-cost, backpack filmmaking. When he's not working for Take2, Steve is probably at GreyComm Studios (Loyola's internet/television production studio) working both behind-the-scenes and on camera. He pulls himself away from video production every once and awhile and is mostly like listening to Bob Dylan or Bruce Springsteen -- or reading someone's biography.

Johanna Hatzenbuehler | Design Consultant

Johanna Hatzenbuehler is a professional designer who shares {r}evolution apparel's love of travel and sustainability. She received her MFA in womenswear in San Francisco and had the opportunity to present her thesis collection at Bryant Park in NYC. While working at Free People in Philadelphia, she was trained in knitwear design. Now, she is quite happy to be back in the Texas sun. On weekends, she loves driving down to the beach and attempting to surf, or going for a swim in one of Austin's many swimming holes.
